The Page that Celebrates Our Favorite Cartoons!

And what would our favorite cartoons be without our favorite local kiddie-show hosts?  In my case Mpls.-St. Paul's Casey Jones (Roger Awsumb) and Clancy the Cop (John Gallos).  Casey served up Hercules, Gumby, Felix the Cat, Davey and Goliath and the Harvey toons among others.  Clancy gave us HB second striners like Wally Gator.

To kids in the Sixties Yogi, Quick Draw and Huck were the equivalent of Newman, Redford and John Wayne.

I did have favorites outside the HB stable.  I loved the original Alvin Show and Rocky and Bullwinkle.  I really don't know if I liked Looney Tunes or The Flintstones. I watched them and they made me laugh but part of the reason I watched them was because they were so ubiquitous.   Fred and Barney did prepare me for THE HONEYMOONERS.

My all time favorite, in a tie with Rocky and Bullwinkle, remains to this day, the HB masterpiece JONNY QUEST.
